I am a former journalist, photojournalist and video journalist.
What this ultimately means is that I know how to tell a story in many different mediums.
Before becoming a full-time entrepreneur, I was a social media video producer for New Jersey’s biggest news outlet, NJ.com, where a big portion of my job was to create original content for our social media presence.
One main way I would do this, was to “dewrite” articles into quick and engaging scripts for short videos on social media — I took big heaps of information and transformed them into concise and captivating nuggets that would grab the attention of our 1m subscribers on a daily basis and promote engagement with our brand.
I teach business owners how to feel empowered and excited to show up on social media and the digital marketplace.
Today, my brand photography and videography business is built on the foundation of powerful messaging and branding first — the visuals that come after are just the cherry on top of the intensive I have with all of my clients before they ever set foot in front of my lens.
